How do I set a custom lock sound on Tesla?
Record or trim your sound in EV USB Studio and it prepares the LockChime file in the correct format and folder on the USB. Plug the drive into your Tesla and it plays your sound when locking.
What is Boombox and how do I add my own sounds?
Boombox plays sounds through Tesla's external speaker. In EV USB Studio pick or trim a sound and it places it into the Boombox folder on the USB.
How do I run a light show on Tesla?
EV USB Studio validates and prepares the light-show files (.fseq) and auto-converts the audio so the show runs in sync in the car.
How do I change the Tesla wrap on the screen?
Pick a template or upload your own wrap design - EV USB Studio sizes it correctly for your model: Model 3, Y, S, X or Cybertruck.
How do I view Tesla dashcam footage (TeslaCam)?
The built-in viewer shows all TeslaCam and Sentry cameras in sync, lets you trim the moment you need and export it - as a grid or per camera.
What USB format does Tesla need?
Tesla needs an exFAT partition with a TeslaCam folder and others. EV USB Studio formats and partitions the drive correctly so the dashcam does not conflict with sounds and shows.
Does EV USB Studio work on Windows and Mac?
Yes, there are builds for Windows 10/11 and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon). The UI is in 14 languages, with no command line.
